African startups are encouraged to apply for the GSMA Innovation Fund for Climate Resilience and Adaptation 2.0, a program designed to support digital technology innovations that have a positive socio-economic and environmental impact in regions vulnerable to climate risks.
In collaboration with the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida), the GSMA Innovation Fund for Climate Resilience and Adaptation 2.0 builds upon the success of its previous edition, where eight African startups secured grants.
The fund is open to startups, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and social enterprises across Africa, South and South East Asia, the Pacific Islands, the Caribbean, and selected countries in Europe and Latin America. It seeks innovative solutions that leverage digital technology, particularly mobile, to enhance resilience and adaptation to climate change.
