Its custom platforms and OneView dashboards provide management and technical teams with a comprehensive overview of their security status, enabling them to proactively manage vulnerabilities and respond effectively to breaches.

Founded in August 2021 by ML Conradie and Tony Walt, Port443 already serves a diverse range of customers in the ISP, manufacturing, and retail sectors across Africa and the Middle East. The company currently handles automated compliance for hundreds of firewalls and offers numerous OneView dashboards from its headquarters in Johannesburg.

ML Conradie, co-founder of Port443, expressed his excitement about the funding, stating,

The funding will be used to expand Port443’s reach further into the Middle East and Africa region by adding key software development personnel, and supporting our marketing, sales, and product enhancements for early adopters of next-generation automation in cybersecurity.

Scott Gibson, co-founder of Iziko2.0, expressed confidence in Port443, citing their previous working relationship with ML and Tony. He also expressed enthusiasm about the partnership with RMB Ventures.

With the new funding, Port443 aims to strengthen its team, enhance its product offerings, and effectively penetrate the cybersecurity market in the Middle East and Africa.
