Nigerian startup, Rise.ng, has raised $150,000 in a pre-seed round for the facilitation of its operations across the country.
Rise.ng has disclosed that it is on a mission to revolutionise service delivery across the country by focusing on low-income earners - artisans and vendors alike who don't have the opportunities to leverage digital/online platforms.
The startup was founded in 2019 by Olawunmi Oyedeji. Rise.ng also disclosed plans to expand its services across other African network of markets in the foreseeable future.
Rísé was inspired by ‘Try My Job’ - a reality TV show where prominent figures swap occupations with fans for a day, providing a platform for SMEs to exhibit their products and services.

Rísé takes use of this to provide the best selection of artists and vendors for anyone’s day-to-day needs.
It generally gives artisans/vendors who use its platform a dashboard that enables them to advertise and promote their services or products with a secure finance layout that makes their payment effortless and safe, while the user gets to work with an authenticated vendor/artisan who is covered by insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances.
