Egyptian-based e-commerce platform, Gahez which also leverages B2B has recently secured $2 million in a recent round of funding.
Venture Capital firm, Disruptech Ventures led in the pre-Seed round. Other investors in this round also include Egypt Ventures, Tanmeyah (an EFG Hermes business), Afropreneur Fund, and other significant angel investors.
The startup company has created an online platform in the last months of 2021. The goal is to transform the wholesale delivery service in Egypt by expediting the procedure between merchants and producers which results in a better e-commerce cycle.
Gahez also offers credit facilities to retailers. Making the collection process also easier while handling payment settlements between vendors through third-party aggregators.

The startup has also grown its footprint to 16 governorates across Egypt since its start in 2021, acquiring over 15,000 shops, 142 producers, and over 4,000 SKUs.
Gahez’s SKU is a wholesale collection of sizes and colours that can be purchased on their platform by brick-and-mortar businesses, online dealers, and street salespersons.
